Weekend Wrap-Up: Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween Everyone!! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! We honestly didn't even celebrate Halloween this weekend.. I didn't feel like spending the money on a costume this year. We did have fun though. We cooked some chili (it is starting to get a little cooler out) and watched some scary movies.

Hound came out with their new fall/winter collection today. I have been looking foward to seeing this for a while now. Go check it out if you haven't already. Here are a couple styles I like the most!!

10 Reasons...

I have recently been asking my self why do you enjoy blogging so much and what is it that you get out of it? I haven't been blogging for that long, but have really grown to love it. I find myself thinking about new posts, taking photos for posts and always looking for new ways to improve my blog.
I thought about it and came up with 10 reasons I think I love blogging.

1. It is an outlet- to share my feelings, day to day ideas, inspiration and memories

2. Gives me the opportunity to take tons of photos

3. I get to meet other great bloggers out there who have the same interests 

4. I get to be creative and it pushes me to grow more

5. I get to write 

6. It gives me a chance to try and inspire others

7. I get to share my jewelry from my Beautifully Elegant Shop

8. I just love it...okay?

9. It is fun coming up with new ideas for blog posts

10. I enjoy seeing how people react to my ideas and inspiration 

Weekend Wrap-Up

This week was great. Brian and I did a lot this week to get ready for his Aunt's wedding on Saturday. I tried to get a lot done because I knew that this whole weekend was going to be devoted to Brian's family.
The wedding on Saturday was absolutely beautiful. It was an outdoor wedding (the weather was nice and cool). It started at 2:30pm and we didn't leave until about 11pm. By the end of the night I my feet and back hurt from so much dancing. I haven't danced that much in a long time. It was great! The music was good and we were having a great time with his family. I didn't really want to leave by the end of the night.
On Sunday, we celebrated a cousin's birthday, again with the whole family. There really wasn't time for us to even breathe before we had to go hang out with his family again. Brian's family isn't small, like mine, it is huge. His dad has 4 sisters and 1 brother. They are all very strong headed and great women/men to be around. You can defiantly feel the love in the room when they all get together.

Wish List: The perfect bag

i have many things that i would like to own these days and thought i should come up with a new post to showcase what i am currently dreaming of called wish list. hope you all enjoy...

this week, i have been on the search for a cute purse and clutch. i have a ton of handbags that i have collected since i was in highschool, but i have grown out of most of them. i am honestly just saving them because of the memories that are tied to each one. also, eventually if i have a girl i would like to pass them onto her. i am looking for something that is more grown up and that i can carry a lot in.

Style//06- Gameday

Game day has always been a favorite of mine- putting on your favorite teams shirt or just wearing their colors. I love finding the right shirt or outfit to help cheer on my team! In my case my team is Oklahoma State University. Even though I only attended for a year I will always be a cowboy!

I also love cheering on the Dallas Cowboys even though they aren't really impressing me these days. Nordstroms just came out with some cute game day shirts. I wish they had a Dallas Cowboys one though!

Weekend Wrap-Up

This weekend we watched football and the Texas Rangers on Saturday at my boyfriends brothers house. By the way the Texas Rangers are going to the World Series! YIPEE! We had lots of fun grilling out and watching the game. We also made a fire towards the end of the night and roasted some marshmellows for s'mores. We ended our weekend today with going to the fair with my aunt and uncle. We had a blast! I got to eat a corny dog (my favorite), ride a couple of rides and bought some salt water taffy. We also looked at the car show and history muesum. Overall, we had a great time.

Weekend Wrap-Up

this week felt like it went by soooo slow. i was really ready for the weekend...because I am still not feeling so great. i had a headache all week long last week. does anyone have a magic remedy that i don't know about yet to cure these headaches?! i think it might have something to do with my new job and the stress of learning so many new things all at once. i am trying to slow it down and not get so stressed about it. hopefully i will feel a little better this week. we also decorated the office for Halloween- it looks great so far...we still have more decorating to do this afternoon. it is going to have a cemetery/jailhouse theme.
my weekend was great though. we just relaxed and enjoyed the rain- i was so happy that it finally rained!! i also got to have my first slice of pumpkin cheesecake from the cheesecake factory! it was OH-SO-YUMMY.

lately, i have been searching for the perfect wedding outfit...you can read all about that here. well, on that search i have discovered my love for soft shades of pink- pink has never been one of my favorite colors, but here lately i have been finding myself buying/liking light pink more and more. here are some things i would like to add to my closet...they all happen to be pink!!
